Discrimination at work is a matter of serious concern for organizations all over the world. Differentiating people on basis of certain characteristics like age and gender or on grounds such as race and religion is discrimination. Gender discrimination is unequal and unfair handling based on a person's gender or sex.
Women are the one who suffer; it is harder sometimes for women in comparison with man, to find a good job. Moreover, if they get a good one people try to take advantage of them & women are getting less salary as compare to men. Another words woman is the one who face discrimination every day. As we known women can do anything as men can but still women are back. Gender discrimination in the workplace is not only harmful to the professional growth of an individual but also limits the growth of business firm. There are laws to prevent violation of employees, be it on the basis of gender, age or race. People should realize that gender discrimination at workplace is a serious form of employment discrimination. Gender discrimination at work place is unlawful & punishable offense.
